Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

wowcafes.com is an informational directory. This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information processed when you browse the site, use search, view advertising, manage privacy choices, or contact us. Our Cookie Policy provides additional detail about cookies, local storage, consent signals, and similar technologies.

1. Information processed when you visit

Our hosting, server, and security systems may process standard request and security information such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, device information, requested URL, date and time, and technical events needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

2. Information you submit

If you use our Contact Form, we process the information you provide. Depending on the request, this can include your name, email address, request type, relationship to a listed business, page URL, verification URL, subject, and message. The form also sends technical anti-abuse information such as the source page or host and form timing/security metadata. We use this information to respond to, verify, secure, and process your request and to maintain appropriate records.

3. Cookies, local storage, and privacy choices

The site and third-party services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for security, consent preferences, analytics, advertising, and site functionality. Not every technology is used on every page or for every visitor. See our Cookie Policy for categories and controls.

4. Google Privacy & messaging and consent signals

We use Google's Privacy & messaging consent management tools on supported parts of the site. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's European message can collect and communicate privacy choices using the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). For supported U.S. state privacy messages, Google can store and transmit relevant choices using the IAB Global Privacy Platform (GPP). We also use Google consent signals so Google tags can adjust storage and data use according to the applicable consent state and configuration.

You can revisit available Google consent choices using the Privacy and cookie settings link in the site footer. In supported U.S. states, additional opt-out controls may be presented by Google's U.S. state privacy message. Where applicable, universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) may also be processed by participating services.

5. Analytics

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and performance. Depending on region, consent state, and Google tag configuration, analytics storage and measurement behavior may differ. Google may process online identifiers, device/browser information, and usage information for measurement. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Advertising and search services

Google AdSense and related Google advertising services. Advertising services may process online identifiers, device/browser information, advertising interactions, and consent or privacy signals to serve, measure, limit, or personalize advertising as permitted by your choices, applicable law, and Google configuration. We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. Certain advertising-related disclosures of online identifiers may, however, be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws.

Google search services. The site's search page may use Google Programmable Search Engine and related Google advertising resources. These services are subject to Google's own privacy terms and the privacy choices applicable to the visitor.

7. Cloudflare Turnstile

Our Contact Form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare states that Turnstile processes client-side signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent information, sitekey, and associated origin for bot detection and service security. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

8. How we use and disclose information

We use information described in this policy to operate and secure the site, provide search and directory functionality, measure performance, display and measure advertising, record privacy choices, respond to contact and listing requests, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, security, email, analytics, advertising, search, and related website functions, subject to their roles and applicable terms.

9. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, deletion, or correction of certain personal information and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activities. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Where Google's U.S. state privacy message is available, you may use the opt-out control presented there. Google states that its U.S. state messages support GPP for transmitting applicable choices and that, in states where required, Google can receive GPC signals directly and apply restricted data processing to relevant ad requests. You may also submit a privacy request through our Contact Form. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by applicable law; we may take reasonable steps to verify the request and the agent's authority.

10. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, request handling, recordkeeping, dispute prevention, and legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the site and submitted information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. External services and links

Some pages load scripts, fonts, search components, or other resources from third-party providers such as Google and Cloudflare. Requests to those providers may expose standard network and browser information to them. Our pages may also link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date above identifies the current revision.
